JWatch is a real-time, web-based case management data system used in the 2nd Judicial Circuit of Illinois since August 2009. JWatch was developed with Models for Change/MacArthur Foundation, Redeploy Illinois and 2nd Judicial Circuit support. Its current version includes a complete Juvenile Probation Module, Adult Probation Module (which includes a Drug Court component) and a Juvenile Police Contacts module to allow practitioners in the 2nd Judicial Circuit to effectively collect, use and share a large volume of information regarding probationers in each of the Circuit’s 12 counties; and in doing so, to improve outcomes and enhance community safety. Numerous online reports are available and several are used for mandated reporting requirements.
